It's finished with a piped edge and sits on the same turned, Wenge-toned wooden legs as the rest of the Model 15 range, with concealed support legs and plastic glides. Assembly is tool-free, using the Swyft-Lok fastening system.

Blackthorn was designed by J.H. Dearle in 1892, with the mottled, hand-printed texture typical of Morris & Co.'s archive prints. In this colourway it's a blue-grey ground with cream blossom, rust and burnt-orange accents and dark navy linework, woven into a quality linen-blend fabric. The top cushion combines a supportive foam core with a soft fibre topper, and the ottoman arrives in a single box, an easy way to bring the print into a room without committing to a full sofa.
