Guarantee and Warranty

Upholstered items

15-year frame guarantee:
We believe in the quality of our products, which is why we have a 15-year frame guarantee of the internal structure of our upholstered items.

2-year fabric guarantee:
We provide a two-year guarantee on all fabrics with every upholstered item. Our fabrics are durable and resilient, which is why they are guaranteed for two years. The guarantee includes workmanship issues, pulled and loose threads, and any stitching errors.

The guarantee does not cover stains or spills. If you’d like specific cover for accidental damage, we’ve partnered with Guardsman, a furniture insurance company, where you can purchase a five-year protection policy on furniture

Case Good items

15-year structural guarantee:
All Case Goods (dining tables, chairs, coffee tables, etc) come with a 15-year structural guarantee.

For both frame and structural guarantees, if a manufacturing or workmanship fault causes your frame or structure to break or collapse, we’ll repair or replace it free of charge.=

What the guarantees do not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, impact, or improper assembly
  • Water damage, stains or spills
  • Normal wear and tear (including creaking or slight movement over time)
  • Normal colour shift from UV exposure throughout the life of the product

If you’d like cover for accidental damage—think spills, knocks, or pet mishaps—consider a Guardsman Protection plan.

Mattresses

10-year guarantee:
If there is a manufacturing fault with the mattress within ten years after date of purchase, the mattress will be replaced free of charge with the same specification as the original purchased product (or the closest equivalent if the original mattress is no longer available).

Contact customer service for further explanation.

If you feel your product develops a fault within your warranty period, please read the below to make sure what you believe is an issue is not normal before raising a concern.

Please also note that the Warranty does not cover:

  • A normal increase in softness in the polymer filling material or a decrease in the slow recovery performance, which does not affect the pressure-relieving properties.
  • Any smells relating to the mattress
  • Body indentations relating to normal settlement
  • Level of perceived comfort
  • Where a product has been purchased online, and the complaint is due to the “feel” of the mattress
  • Where the mattress has had more than 1 owner

The warranty will cease to apply if we find that during the warranty period, any of the following applies

  • Abuse, misuse, or general wear and tear
  • The mattress has been used on a slatted base with slats more than 7.5cm apart
  •  Any causes other than faulty manufacture or materials
  • Where the product is soiled, has become wet, or in an unsanitary condition
  • Where the customer care hints detailed in this document have not been applied, this includes not rotating the mattress as recommended
  • Where the cover has been removed, where the label does not state “removable, washable cover:”
  • A new mattress has been used with an existing, damaged divan or a divan that is deemed to be of unsuitable quality

In order to register your concern, you will need to report the problem in writing to Swyft (support@swyfthome.com), and we will handle your warranty claim on your behalf and liaise with the third-party supplier.

You will need to provide proof of purchase before we investigate any issue under your warranty.

Helpful Information

Easy-to-clean fabrics
Several of our fabrics are easy to clean, which ensures that accidental spills are a little less stressful. If a spill happens, follow our written and video instructions on our Fabric Care page - you can also find a list of our easy-to-clean fabrics.

To provide you with an added sense of security, we have partnered with Guardsman to offer a comprehensive five-year coverage for any mishaps.

How durable are Swyft products?

Frame strength:
Our products have passed all of the regulatory industry strength tests (BS EN12520:2015), and each seat is suitable for a weight of up to 18 stone (114kg). As a result, we have a 15-year frame guarantee on the internal structure of our sofas.

Fabric quality & rub count:
Our fabric range is robust with rub counts ranging from 40,000 to 100,000, which is well above residential requirements. In simple terms, the fabric we use on our upholstery is of high quality and long-lasting.

How to best care for your Swyft products:

  • Keep out of direct sunlight, as this can bleach the product
  • Gentle clean and hoover (with the upholstery attachment) regularly
  • Plump your cushions daily to avoid any sagging - see the plumping video here

How to clean your mattress topper
1. Air dry. This is really important. Don’t use a hairdryer or apply heat to the stain in any way.

2. Scrape off any residue with a spoon or flat utensil. For lighter stains, dampen the fabric and blot with a white paper towel—no rubbing, or you’ll end up with bits of towel in your fabric.

3. Keep blotting until the stain stops transferring. Then add a little more water and gently rub with a microfibre cloth. For tougher stains, grab any white bar of soap and work it in using a circular motion.

4. Let it air dry—no heat or hairdryers.
