Sofa and ottoman share piped edges, turned oak legs, concealed support legs and plastic glides, and the sofa assembles with the Swyft-Lok fastening system, no tools required. The sofa's back is high and its seat deep and sloped, arms pleated; the ottoman takes a footrest or one more person. Cushions on both are built from a supportive foam core under a soft fibre topper. Taking Blackthorn across two pieces commits a room to the print, so it helps that the leg finish is oak: the lighter base keeps a blue-grey ground with navy linework from settling too heavily. The colourway runs cream blossom with rust and burnt-orange accents, woven into a quality linen-blend fabric on both pieces.
