Underneath, an engineered wood and solid wood frame sits on S-spring and webbing suspension, with slim, stainless steel legs and slender armrests keeping the profile low. A single top-stitch runs across the body and cushions for a clean finish, and it can be slotted together with the Swyft-Lok fastening system, though a tool is needed to attach the legs, which is provided in the box, arriving in 3 boxes for easy access into the home.

The seat cushion is layered with high-density foam for lasting support, while the back and side cushions are filled with soft, crumbled foam. Upholstered in Real Maple Leather, a warm, tan-brown leather with natural grain variation, the 2-Seater has a warm, tactile finish that develops character over time.

Can I use a steam cleaner on my Swyft furniture?

Light steam cleaning may be suitable for some fabrics, provided the steam cleaner is used correctly and your fabric is compatible.

Always keep the steamer moving and avoid holding it too close to the fabric or allowing the nozzle to come into direct contact with the upholstery, as excessive heat and moisture can damage the fabric.

Before using a steam cleaner, check your sofa's fabric care guidance:
- Suitable with care: Velvet, Mottled Velvet and Linen fabrics may be lightly steamed, provided the steamer is used correctly and the care instructions are followed.
- Not recommended: Bouclé and Chenille should not be steam cleaned, as these fabrics require gentler cleaning methods and minimal moisture. We recommend spot cleaning or using a specialist upholstery cleaner where appropriate.

What weight can Swyft sofas support?

All sofas are tested to British Standards - 110 kg per seat. A 2-seater is rated to 220 kg total; a 3-seater to 330 kg total.

Are the fabric covers on Swyft sofas removable or washable?

No - fabric covers are fixed upholstery and are not removable or washable. Full replacement cushions (cover and fill together) are available in some fabrics that are live on our site - contact our team on support@swyfthome.com to enquire.

Do I need to be in to receive delivery?

Yes - someone must be present. You'll receive a 2-hour window the evening before, and the delivery team will call 30-60 minutes before arrival.

Can you deliver through a narrow hallway or up stairs?

Yes - our sofa-in-a-box design is made with this in mind, so most homes are easy to access, even with tighter spaces or stairs.

If any boxes are too large, our delivery team can unbox them at the door and bring the pieces in separately. Access issues are very rare, but we recommend adding a note at checkout if you have narrow access, a small lane, or a gate code so the team can plan ahead.

Care Instructions

Real Maple Leather needs only a light touch: dust or wipe with a slightly damp cloth, and treat any marks by dabbing with a clean, water-dampened cloth and a mild soap solution before letting it air dry completely. Keep the 2-Seater out of direct sunlight, which can cause leather to crack or discolour over time. This leather isn't stain resistant and doesn't carry a Martindale rub count, so we'd recommend Guardsman Furniture Protection for extra cover against spills.
