The 2-Seater rests on slim, stainless steel legs and an engineered wood and solid wood frame with S-spring and webbing suspension, its slender armrests and single top-stitch detailing carrying through the range's minimalist styling. It's delivered in 3 boxes and slots together with the Swyft-Lok fastening system, though a tool is needed to attach the legs, which is provided in the box.

The seat cushion combines several layers of foam for supportive comfort, and the back and side cushions, filled with crumbled foam, offer a softer contrast to lean back into. In Velvet Kingfisher, a vivid blue-green, named for the kingfisher's iridescent plumage, the 2-Seater brings a warm, textured feel to the space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a steam cleaner on my Swyft furniture?

Light steam cleaning may be suitable for some fabrics, provided the steam cleaner is used correctly and your fabric is compatible.

Always keep the steamer moving and avoid holding it too close to the fabric or allowing the nozzle to come into direct contact with the upholstery, as excessive heat and moisture can damage the fabric.

Before using a steam cleaner, check your sofa's fabric care guidance:
- Suitable with care: Velvet, Mottled Velvet and Linen fabrics may be lightly steamed, provided the steamer is used correctly and the care instructions are followed.
- Not recommended: Bouclé and Chenille should not be steam cleaned, as these fabrics require gentler cleaning methods and minimal moisture. We recommend spot cleaning or using a specialist upholstery cleaner where appropriate.

For everyday care and stain removal, we recommend spot cleaning or using our Guardsman Fabric Care Kit. You can also find full care guidance on our website.

What weight can Swyft sofas support?

All sofas are tested to British Standards - 110 kg per seat. A 2-seater is rated to 220 kg total; a 3-seater to 330 kg total.

Are the fabric covers on Swyft sofas removable or washable?

No - fabric covers are fixed upholstery and are not removable or washable. Full replacement cushions (cover and fill together) are available in some fabrics that are live on our site - contact our team on support@swyfthome.com to enquire.

Do I need to be in to receive delivery?

Yes - someone must be present. You'll receive a 2-hour window the evening before, and the delivery team will call 30-60 minutes before arrival.

Can you deliver through a narrow hallway or up stairs?

Yes - our sofa-in-a-box design is made with this in mind, so most homes are easy to access, even with tighter spaces or stairs.

If any boxes are too large, our delivery team can unbox them at the door and bring the pieces in separately. Access issues are very rare, but we recommend adding a note at checkout if you have narrow access, a small lane, or a gate code so the team can plan ahead.

Care Instructions

A soft brush attachment is best for vacuuming Velvet Kingfisher, and a slightly damp cloth handles everyday dusting. For stains, blot first, then dab with a clean, water-dampened cloth and a little mild soap, finishing with a full air dry. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can fade the colour over time. Per the official care label, avoid washing, bleaching or tumble drying; professional dry cleaning with a gentle process is the recommended route. With an EasyClean stain-resistant treatment and a 100,000 Martindale rub count, it's designed to cope with daily life.
