Styling on the Model 12 Right Chaise Sofa Bed is modern and European, with piping running over arms, back cushions and lumbar cushions. Zig-zag springs and two layers of foam make the seat medium to firm; the back and lumbar cushions are 60% recycled silicone fibre and 40% foam cuttings. A clip fixes one unit to the other, and metal legs finish with plastic glides. No tools are needed: Swyft-Lok fastenings do the work.

Both units hold storage, 216 litres total, with 102 under the chaise and 114 under the sofa. Folded out you get a sleeping area of 201 by 125.5cm, and the arms lift away if you want more space. Velvet Petrol gives you velvet with a soft finish, a steady pile and stain resistance, and the colour reads dark teal that leans blue. Expect four boxes.

Can I use a steam cleaner on my Swyft furniture?

Light steam cleaning may be suitable for some fabrics, provided the steam cleaner is used correctly and your fabric is compatible.

Always keep the steamer moving and avoid holding it too close to the fabric or allowing the nozzle to come into direct contact with the upholstery, as excessive heat and moisture can damage the fabric.

Before using a steam cleaner, check your sofa's fabric care guidance:
- Suitable with care: Velvet, Mottled Velvet and Linen fabrics may be lightly steamed, provided the steamer is used correctly and the care instructions are followed.
- Not recommended: Bouclé and Chenille should not be steam cleaned, as these fabrics require gentler cleaning methods and minimal moisture. We recommend spot cleaning or using a specialist upholstery cleaner where appropriate.

What weight can Swyft sofas support?

All sofas are tested to British Standards - 110 kg per seat. A 2-seater is rated to 220 kg total; a 3-seater to 330 kg total.

Are the fabric covers on Swyft sofas removable or washable?

No - fabric covers are fixed upholstery and are not removable or washable. Full replacement cushions (cover and fill together) are available in some fabrics that are live on our site - contact our team on support@swyfthome.com to enquire.

Do I need to be in to receive delivery?

Yes - someone must be present. You'll receive a 2-hour window the evening before, and the delivery team will call 30-60 minutes before arrival.

What warranty comes with Swyft products?

All sofas come with a 15-year frame warranty and a 2-year fabric warranty. These cover manufacturing faults — not accidental damage or misuse.
