The Model 10 Armchair sits on a solid beech plinth with turned legs in a wenge finish, and takes its retro character from angled arms, rounded seats and the double top stitch detailing on the back cushions. There are no tools to find: it slots together with the Swyft-Lok fastening system.

Seat comfort comes from a pocket spring core in resilient foam, with soft hollow fibre filling the back and side cushions. Chenille Flax is a plush chenille with a laid-back sheen. The shade is a soft flaxen neutral, warm rather than grey. It is delivered in two boxes.

Can I buy replacement accent cushions for the Model 10 Sofa?

The side accent cushions are not sold as a standard catalogue item, but may be available as replacement parts - contact our team to enquire. Note that the standard Cushion 01 scatter cushion is a different size and shape.

How firm is the Model 10 Sofa?

The Model 10 is medium-firm with good back support, with a characterful retro feel in keeping with its mid-century design.

Are the seat cushions on the Model 10 Sofa reversible?

The cushions can be rotated 180 degrees end-to-end to even out wear, but are not designed to be flipped top-to-bottom.

A fabric colour I want isn't showing for the Model 10 - is it permanently gone?

Some fabrics have been permanently discontinued on the Model 10, including Lovely Ochre, Lovely Conifer, and Sage. If a colour you ordered swatches for is no longer visible, it may have been removed from the range. Contact our sales team to check if any remaining stock exists.

Can I use a steam cleaner on my Swyft furniture?

Light steam cleaning may be suitable for some fabrics, provided the steam cleaner is used correctly and your fabric is compatible.

Always keep the steamer moving and avoid holding it too close to the fabric or allowing the nozzle to come into direct contact with the upholstery, as excessive heat and moisture can damage the fabric.

Before using a steam cleaner, check your sofa's fabric care guidance:
- Suitable with care: Velvet, Mottled Velvet and Linen fabrics may be lightly steamed, provided the steamer is used correctly and the care instructions are followed.
- Not recommended: Bouclé and Chenille should not be steam cleaned, as these fabrics require gentler cleaning methods and minimal moisture. We recommend spot cleaning or using a specialist upholstery cleaner where appropriate.

Do not wash, do not bleach and do not tumble dry.

Iron at medium heat if needed.

Do not steam clean. Chenille needs gentler methods and minimal moisture, so spot clean or use a specialist upholstery cleaner.

No stain treatment is applied to this fabric.

Keep it out of direct sunlight to protect the colour.
