Everything about the Model 10 Sofa Bed points back to mid-century design, from the angled arms and rounded seats to the shallow pulled buttons and the wenge-finished solid beech plinth beneath. It is assembled with the Swyft-Lok fastening system, no tools needed.

A pocket sprung seat wrapped in resilient foam sits below soft hollow fibre back and side cushions. This one is upholstered in Velvet Petrol: a stain resistant velvet with a settled pile, dark blue green, saturated and deep. Packed into two boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a steam cleaner on my Swyft furniture?

Light steam cleaning may be suitable for some fabrics, provided the steam cleaner is used correctly and your fabric is compatible.

Always keep the steamer moving and avoid holding it too close to the fabric or allowing the nozzle to come into direct contact with the upholstery, as excessive heat and moisture can damage the fabric.

Before using a steam cleaner, check your sofa's fabric care guidance:
- Suitable with care: Velvet, Mottled Velvet and Linen fabrics may be lightly steamed, provided the steamer is used correctly and the care instructions are followed.
- Not recommended: Bouclé and Chenille should not be steam cleaned, as these fabrics require gentler cleaning methods and minimal moisture. We recommend spot cleaning or using a specialist upholstery cleaner where appropriate.

For everyday care and stain removal, we recommend spot cleaning or using our Guardsman Fabric Care Kit. You can also find full care guidance on our website.

What weight can Swyft sofas support?

All sofas are tested to British Standards - 110 kg per seat. A 2-seater is rated to 220 kg total; a 3-seater to 330 kg total.

Are the fabric covers on Swyft sofas removable or washable?

No - fabric covers are fixed upholstery and are not removable or washable. Full replacement cushions (cover and fill together) are available in some fabrics that are live on our site - contact our team on support@swyfthome.com to enquire.

Do I need to be in to receive delivery?

Yes - someone must be present. You'll receive a 2-hour window the evening before, and the delivery team will call 30-60 minutes before arrival.

What warranty comes with Swyft products?

All sofas come with a 15-year frame warranty and a 2-year fabric warranty. These cover manufacturing faults — not accidental damage or misuse.

Care Instructions

Blot rather than rub. Water handles most stains, and household soap can be added sparingly if needed.

Do not wash, do not bleach and do not tumble dry.

Iron at medium heat if needed.

Dry clean only, professional gentle process.

Light steaming is possible if the steamer is kept moving and never held against the fabric, since heat and moisture can damage the pile.

Stain treatment: Easy Clean.

Keep it out of direct sunlight to protect the colour.
