With classic modern styling, the Model 08 Sofa Bed 2.5 Seat keeps a wide profile and slim features, and single top stitch worked into the arms and body. Front legs are turned solid beech in a wenge finish, with black metal legs at the back. It locks together with the Swyft-Lok fastening system, so no tools are needed.

The seat foam is thick and soft, and becomes the mattress when it opens into a bed 160cm wide and 190cm long. Back and side cushions use polyester fibre fill. In Chenille Russet the piece is chenille, soft underhand and velvety to look at, landing as a saturated reddish brown, terracotta at heart. It ships in two boxes.

Can I buy replacement cushion covers for the Model 08 Sofa Bed?

No - fabric covers are fixed upholstery and are not removable or washable. Full replacement cushions (cover and fill together) are available in some fabrics that are live on our site - contact our team on support@swyfthome.com to enquire.

Can I replace the arms on the Model 08 Sofa Bed with arms from another model?

No - each model's arms are specific to its own frame and fittings. Components from other models are not compatible.

Can I fit casters to the Model 08 Sofa Bed?

Swyft does not supply or recommend casters for the Model 08 - the leg design is not suited to castor attachment. Furniture sliders are a better option for moving it.

What is the linen fabric on the Model 08 Sofa Bed made of?

The linen-look fabric is 73% polyester and 27% cotton - not pure linen. It has a linen appearance but is more durable and easier to clean.

How do I convert the Model 08 Sofa Bed from sofa to bed?

Conversion is tool-free. Instructions are included in the box and a video guide is on the product page. The legs screw in during initial assembly only. Contact support if the mechanism feels stuck - it is unlikely to be a fault.

Is it safe to use the Model 08 Sofa Bed as a bed without the arms attached?

The arms are structurally separate from the sleeping surface, but we'd recommend contacting our support team to confirm before using it this way.

Spot clean as you go. Stains will usually lift with water, and a stubborn mark may need a little household soap.

Do not wash, do not bleach and do not tumble dry.

Iron at medium heat if needed.

Dry clean only, professional gentle process.

Do not steam clean. Chenille needs gentler methods and minimal moisture, so spot clean or use a specialist upholstery cleaner.

No stain treatment is applied to this fabric.

Keep it out of direct sunlight to protect the colour.
