The Model 08 Sofa Bed 2.5 Seat is deliberately understated, with a wide profile, slim features and single top stitch running over the arms and body. A wenge finish on the turned beech front legs, black metal on the rear pair. The Swyft-Lok fastening system does away with tools entirely.

Seating and sleeping run off the same thick soft foam, with fibre fill in the back and side cushions. It opens into a bed measuring 160cm by 190cm. In Chenille Flax it is a gently textured chenille with a velvet cast, showing as a gentle straw neutral that stays warm in low light. Delivery is two boxes.

Can I buy replacement cushion covers for the Model 08 Sofa Bed?

No - fabric covers are fixed upholstery and are not removable or washable. Full replacement cushions (cover and fill together) are available in some fabrics that are live on our site - contact our team on support@swyfthome.com to enquire.

Can I replace the arms on the Model 08 Sofa Bed with arms from another model?

No - each model's arms are specific to its own frame and fittings. Components from other models are not compatible.

Can I fit casters to the Model 08 Sofa Bed?

Swyft does not supply or recommend casters for the Model 08 - the leg design is not suited to castor attachment. Furniture sliders are a better option for moving it.

What is the linen fabric on the Model 08 Sofa Bed made of?

The linen-look fabric is 73% polyester and 27% cotton - not pure linen. It has a linen appearance but is more durable and easier to clean.

How do I convert the Model 08 Sofa Bed from sofa to bed?

Conversion is tool-free. Instructions are included in the box and a video guide is on the product page. The legs screw in during initial assembly only. Contact support if the mechanism feels stuck - it is unlikely to be a fault.

Is it safe to use the Model 08 Sofa Bed as a bed without the arms attached?

The arms are structurally separate from the sleeping surface, but we'd recommend contacting our support team to confirm before using it this way.
