On the Model 04 Sofa Bed the detail sits in the cushions, with pulled button detailing to seat cushions and backs, over a 208cm three seater frame. It stands on a clear finish over solid oak at the front and black powder coated metal behind. Swyft-Lok fastenings mean a tool-free build, best tackled by two.

The seat glides forward on wheels, the back folds flat on the Swyft-Pin-Hinge system, and concealed legs come out of the seat to carry it. The bed is a full-sized UK double of 135 by 190cm, and side cushions double as pillows. There are a total above 300 pocket springs across the seat and back, and the cushions mix hollow fibre at 60% and crumb foam at 40%. The Chenille Flax finish is chenille, soft underhand and velvety to look at, a gentle straw neutral that stays warm in low light. It travels in three boxes, the oak legs boxed separately.

Which fabrics work best on the Model 04 if I have pets?

No fabric is fully pet-proof. Velvet and boucle attract pet hair. Chenille and linen are easier to clean. Faux leather is the most resistant to scratches and pet hair. We recommend ordering swatches before deciding.

No - the Model 04 sofa bed is 3-seater only.

How does the Model 04 Sofa Bed mechanism work?

The Model 04 arrives flat-packed in two boxes and is designed for self-assembly. The backrest connects to the base using pins at each end, which need to click fully into place before use. We have the assembly instructions and video on the product page.

If the backrest doesn't stay in place during assembly, it's usually due to slight misalignment rather than a fault. If you're unsure or it continues, our support team will be happy to help.

Will the Model 04 Sofa Bed fit through a narrow hallway or up stairs?

The 2-box design means the longest piece is 195 cm - similar in length to a double mattress. The delivery team can unbox at the door and bring pieces in separately if needed. This is standard practice and access failures are rare.
