Styling on the Model 04 Sofa Bed stays quiet, with button detail pulled into the seat and back cushions, on a three seater frame of 208cm. Solid beech with wenge staining at the front; black powder coated metal legs behind them. Swyft-Lok fastenings replace tools entirely, and two people are recommended.

Opening it is a matter of wheeling the seat forward, folding the back flat on the Swyft-Pin-Hinge system and pulling the concealed legs out of the seat. The bed measures 190 by 135cm, a standard UK double, and the side cushions can be used as pillows. Over 300 pocket springs run across seat and back, and cushion filling is mostly hollow fibre with the rest crumb foam. The upholstery, Chenille Mink, is a soft, easy chenille with a velvet-like face, a quiet mushroom taupe. Arrives as two boxes.

Which fabrics work best on the Model 04 if I have pets?

No fabric is fully pet-proof. Velvet and boucle attract pet hair. Chenille and linen are easier to clean. Faux leather is the most resistant to scratches and pet hair. We recommend ordering swatches before deciding.

Is the Model 04 Sofa Bed available in a 2-seater version?

No - the Model 04 sofa bed is 3-seater only.

How does the Model 04 Sofa Bed mechanism work?

The Model 04 arrives flat-packed in two boxes and is designed for self-assembly. The backrest connects to the base using pins at each end, which need to click fully into place before use. We have the assembly instructions and video on the product page.

If the backrest doesn't stay in place during assembly, it's usually due to slight misalignment rather than a fault. If you're unsure or it continues, our support team will be happy to help.

Will the Model 04 Sofa Bed fit through a narrow hallway or up stairs?

The 2-box design means the longest piece is 195 cm - similar in length to a double mattress. The delivery team can unbox at the door and bring pieces in separately if needed. This is standard practice and access failures are rare.
