The Bed 05 is a modern European bed frame, structural in outline and soft where you sit up against it. Around the upholstered pad, a solid oak frame; behind it, white oak veneer slats; either side, veneered rails joined to solid oak feet. Delicate fabric straps and brass detailing appear to hold the headboard in place whilst providing beautifully considered finish. A recess in the frame, made by rails sitting above the slats, holds the mattress steady, and rounded corners keep the silhouette soft. Engineered wood slats run beneath the mattress, and the bed comes together with light, two-person assembly and the hardware pack provided. Boxes are tested in-house so they withstand transit, and the bed is rigorously tested for strength, durability and safety.

Linen Oatmeal, a warm, neutral oatmeal beige, upholsters the headboard pad and softens the frame's straight edges. An oak finish keeps the frame light, with natural grain variation adding to the character of each one. It arrives in two boxes for easier access into the home. The recess is sized for a 180 x 200cm mattress, so check yours before ordering.

Care Instructions

Regular care for Linen Oatmeal means a soft brush vacuum attachment and a light wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Blot spills straight away, then dab with a clean cloth, water and a mild soap solution before allowing the area to air dry. Avoid placing the bed in direct sunlight, which fades fabric over time. The anti-water (C0) finish and 40,000 Martindale rating keep it stain resistant.
