The Bed 05 pairs disciplined framing with a generously padded headboard. Solid oak forms the headboard frame and the feet, while white oak veneer finishes the rear slats, the side rails and the footboard. Fabric straps reach over the top of the headboard revealing a brass detail joining the upholstered pad with the frame. Mattress embedding is built in: rails above the slat base create a recess that stops it sliding, and the corners are rounded throughout. Underneath sits a durable engineered wood slat system, and assembly is light: two people, the included hardware, and not much time. The design is rigorously tested for strength, durability and safety, and its packaging is tested in-house to withstand transit.

Leather Maple, a warm, mid-tone tan brown, upholsters the headboard pad in real, semi-aniline leather. Oak finish, real leather: two natural materials, so slight differences in grain and in leather colour are to be expected. Two boxes make delivery into the home straightforward. Confirm your mattress measures 180 x 200cm so it sits correctly in the frame.

Keep Leather Maple clean with a dust or a lightly damp cloth, and treat any mark by dabbing with clean water and a little mild soap, then air drying completely. Strong, direct sunlight can crack or discolour the leather, so position the bed away from it. Leather isn't stain resistant and doesn't take a Martindale rub count; Guardsman Furniture Protection gives extra cover against spills.
