The Bed 05 balances a firmly drawn frame with a headboard that's padded for comfort. Solid oak holds the headboard pad in place with delicate fabric straps and brass detailing providing beautifully considered finish, white oak veneer slats detail the rear, and veneered side rails and a footboard drop to solid oak feet. With the rails higher than the slat base, the mattress settles into a recess; the legs and headboard frame carry rounded corners for a softer line. The mattress is supported by a durable engineered wood slat system, and two people can assemble the frame with the hardware pack included. The bed comes through rigorous strength, durability and safety testing, and its packaging is tested in-house to withstand transit.

Velvet Vine finishes the headboard pad, a deep, dark forest green that gives the bed a richer, quieter tone. A walnut stain darkens the oak, with the natural grain still visible and varying piece to piece. Two boxes keep delivery manageable, and a 150 x 200cm mattress will settle properly into the recessed frame.

A soft brush vacuum and a slightly damp cloth are enough for Velvet Vine most of the time. Stains want blotting, then a dab with clean water and a mild soap solution, followed by a full air dry. Keep the headboard away from strong sunlight so the colour holds. Per the care label, no washing, bleaching or tumble drying: gentle dry clean only.
