This is modern European design: a assertive prominent frame of the Bed 05, softened by upholstery where it matters. An upholstered pad sits within a solid oak headboard frame with fabric straps gently reach over the top of the headboard revealing a brass detail, veneered slats behind it, and white oak veneer on the rails and footboard, all standing on solid oak feet. The frame is recessed so the mattress sits securely below the top of the side rails, and the corners of the headboard frame and legs are rounded. Engineered wood slats provide the support system, and the bed needs only light assembly, done best by two people. Boxes go through in-house transit testing, and the bed through rigorous strength, durability and safety testing.

The pad is wrapped in Linen Oatmeal, a warm, neutral oatmeal beige that keeps the bed feeling calm and quiet. The walnut stain runs across the frame, and natural grain variation means each bed looks slightly its own. The bed comes in two boxes for easier access indoors, sized for a 150 x 200cm mattress.

Care Instructions

Linen Oatmeal responds well to a soft brush vacuum and an occasional wipe with a damp cloth. For stains, blot away the excess, work in clean water and a mild soap solution on a cloth, then leave it to air dry fully. Keep the headboard out of direct sun to stop the colour fading. Its anti-water (C0) treatment and 40,000 Martindale rub count make it stain resistant and practical.
