Strong lines shape the Bed 05, while the soft upholstered headboard keeps the piece from feeling dominant. The frame is solid oak at the headboard and at the feet, with white oak veneer across the back slats, the side rails and the footboard. The mattress tucks into a recess formed by raised side rails, and rounded corners on the frame and legs pick up the headboard's shape. Delicate fabric straps and brass detailing appear to hold the headboard in place whilst providing beautifully considered finish. A slat system in durable engineered wood supports the mattress, and the assembly method is simple, familiar and best handled by two. Bed 05 is rigorously tested for strength, durability and safety; packaging gets tested in-house to withstand transit.

Leather Maple upholsters the pad in a warm, mid-tone tan brown real leather that ages into the room. The walnut stain and the real leather both come from natural materials, so grain and colour vary slightly between beds. Two boxes bring it into the home without a struggle, and we'd recommend confirming your mattress is 150 x 200cm.

Care Instructions

Leather Maple asks for very little: a dust, or a wipe with a slightly damp cloth. For marks, dab with clean water and a mild soap solution on a cloth, then let it dry naturally and fully. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause leather to crack and discolour. It isn't stain resistant and has no Martindale rating, so Guardsman Furniture Protection is worth adding for peace of mind against spills.
