The Bed 05 draws on modern European design, pairing a strongly structured frame with a padded headboard featuring fabric straps and brass detailing. You get a solid oak headboard frame, a slatted white oak veneer back, and side rails and a footboard in matching veneer, all resting on solid oak feet. Slightly raised rails create a recess that holds the mattress firmly, and rounding on the headboard frame and legs takes the edge off the form. Beneath the mattress, durable engineered wood slats do the supporting, and the frame is built by two people with the hardware included. We rigorously test the bed for strength, durability and safety, and test its packaging in-house to withstand transit.

Upholstery on the headboard is Linen Oatmeal, a warm, neutral oatmeal beige, easy to lean back against. The frame carries an oak finish, and slight variations in the natural grain are part of its character. It arrives in two boxes for easier access into the home. With the recessed rails in mind, confirm your mattress measures 150 x 200cm.

Care Instructions

Keep Linen Oatmeal looking its best by vacuuming with a soft brush head and wiping with a slightly damp cloth. If something spills, blot the excess, dab with clean water on a cloth, follow with a mild soap solution, and air dry completely. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can fade the fabric. With an anti-water (C0) finish and 40,000 Martindale rubs, it stands up well to everyday use.
