Clean lines define the Bed 05, offset by a headboard pad that softens the whole frame. Solid oak makes up the headboard frame and the feet, with white oak veneer covering the slatted back, the side rails and the footboard. Fabric straps reach over the top of the headboard revealing a brass detail accentuating the interaction between the headboard and frame. The recessed design holds the mattress securely between rails that sit above the slat base; corners on the headboard frame and legs are rounded to soften things. Engineered wood slats sit beneath the mattress for support, with light assembly needed and a hardware pack supplied. In-house testing puts the packaging through transit conditions, while the frame is rigorously tested for strength, durability and safety.

Leather Maple runs across the headboard pad, a warm, mid-tone tan brown that will soften and deepen with use. Walnut stain and real leather are both natural materials, so slight shifts in grain and in leather colour come with the territory. It ships in two boxes for easy access into the home, and it's worth confirming your mattress is 135 x 190cm before it arrives.

Care Instructions

Wipe Leather Maple down with a slightly damp cloth to keep it clean, using clean water and a little mild soap on any marks before allowing it to air dry fully. Position the bed away from direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can crack or discolour the leather. As with all our leathers, it isn't stain resistant and doesn't use a Martindale rating; Guardsman Furniture Protection is worth considering for extra peace of mind.
