The Bed 05 takes a modern European approach, setting strong architectural lines against a soft, upholstered headboard. The upholstered headboard sits inside a solid oak frame with delicate fabric straps and brass detailing providing beautifully considered finish. With white oak veneer slats across the back; the side rails and footboard use white oak veneer over an engineered wood core, joined to solid oak feet. The side rails sit slightly higher (4.5cm) than the slat base, recessing the mattress so it's held securely, and rounded corners on the headboard frame and legs soften the form. Underneath, a durable engineered wood slat system supports the mattress, and the bed goes together with a simple two-person assembly using the included hardware pack. The bed is rigorously tested for strength, durability and safety, and the packaging is tested in-house to withstand transit.

The headboard pad is upholstered in Linen Oatmeal, a warm, neutral oatmeal beige with a soft, tactile surface. The frame is finished in oak, and because the timber is natural, slight variations in grain are expected and part of what makes each bed its own. It arrives in two boxes for easier access into the home. Because of the recessed rails, we'd recommend confirming your mattress measures 135 x 190cm before ordering.

Care Instructions

Vacuum Linen Oatmeal gently with a soft brush attachment and wipe with a slightly damp cloth to keep it fresh. Blot any spill, dab with a clean cloth and water, then go over the area with a mild soap solution and let it air dry fully. Keep the bed out of direct sunlight, which can fade the fabric. The anti-water (C0) treatment and 40,000 Martindale rub count mean it's stain resistant and holds up to daily use.
