Architectural framing meets soft upholstery on the Bed 05, a modern European design for the bedroom. Solid oak frames the padded headboard, fabric straps, brass details and veneered slats finish its reverse, and the rails and footboard run in white oak veneer down to feet in solid oak. The mattress sits down inside the frame, held by rails that stand proud of the slat base, while rounded corners echo the headboard's shape. A durable engineered wood slat base carries the mattress; two people and the included hardware pack are all that's needed to build it. Bed 05 has been rigorously tested for strength, durability and safety; its packaging is tested in-house to withstand transit.

On the headboard sits Leather Maple, a warm, mid-tone tan brown real leather. The oak finish sits alongside real leather, and both are natural materials: expect slight variation in wood grain and in leather colour. Two boxes make delivery into the home simpler. As the rails are recessed, confirm your mattress is 135 x 190cm for a proper fit.

Care Instructions

Leather Maple needs only a light touch: dust it, or wipe with a slightly damp cloth, and treat marks by dabbing with a clean, water-dampened cloth and a little mild soap before letting it air dry fully. Keep the bed out of direct sunlight, which can crack or discolour leather over time. This leather isn't stain resistant and doesn't carry a Martindale rub count, so we'd recommend Guardsman Furniture Protection for extra cover against spills.
