How does the storage mechanism on the Bed 03 work?

The Bed 03 uses gas pistons to lift the base and access storage below. Ensure all piston bolts are fully in place before use - missing hardware is a common delivery issue. Do not force the base if it pushes into the back panel when closing; contact support if this happens.

Will the Bed 03 ottoman slat frame fit up a tight staircase?

The ottoman slat frame does not disassemble further, which can cause issues on staircases with a tight turning radius. Measure your stairwell carefully before ordering.

Can I use a steam cleaner on my Swyft furniture?

No - we don't recommend using steam cleaners or Rug Doctor-style machines, as they can damage the fabric backing and cushion filling.

Instead, we suggest spot cleaning or using our Guardsman Fabric Care Kit. You can also find full care guidance on our website to help keep your sofa looking its best.

What weight can Swyft sofas support?

All sofas are tested to British Standards - 110 kg per seat. A 2-seater is rated to 220 kg total; a 3-seater to 330 kg total.

Are the fabric covers on Swyft sofas removable or washable?

No - fabric covers are fixed upholstery and are not removable or washable. Full replacement cushions (cover and fill together) are available in some fabrics that are live on our site - contact our team on support@swyfthome.com to enquire.
