King size bedding is where duvet covers get genuinely annoying. This design removes the problem: the cover is part of the duvet, so it goes on the bed as it comes out of the bag. Both sides carry blue stripes, narrow on one face and wider on the other, for a coastal, lightly nautical look whichever way up it goes.

Smartfil®, made by turning 100% recycled PET bottles into fibre, fills it out: hypoallergenic, and slow to flatten. At an all-season 10.5 tog it does not need swapping out come April, helped along by a peachskin microfibre cover that sits softly on skin. A normal machine wash is all it needs, plus 90 to 120 minutes of machine drying. The Fine Bedding Company's Estonian factory holds B Corp certification and runs on nothing but renewable energy. It is a limited edition run. You get two matching pillowcases as well.
