The sofa has piped edge cushions, a deep sloped seat and a high back, with pleating on the arms; the ottoman takes a footrest, a tray or one more person. Cushions throughout use a supportive foam core with a soft fibre wrap for a mid-soft sit. Quality linen-blend fabric and turned oak legs on both pieces. Across that much upholstery, Willow's tonal colourway is what keeps the set restful: grey-green willow stems on pale oatmeal, close enough in value that the 1887 pattern reads as texture rather than motif.
