Are chaise sofas practical?

Chaise sofas are super practical thanks to their multi-use design. For solo lounging, the chaise can be used as a footrest. What side should my chaise be on?

The side your chaise should be on is dependent on the layout of the rest of your room. It's important to make sure the chaise doesn't block any doors or entranceways, either partially or fully.
