The launch of the Model 05 is just around the corner, and in usual Swyft fashion, we’ve interviewed the designer.
We spoke to Beck Wyld to get a better understanding of what we were trying to achieve with Model 05, how it differs from our other collections and what challenges were faced with the design.
As COP26 comes to a close this week, we thought there was no better time to sit down with Ecologi to understand what they are trying to achieve, learn a little more about the climate crisis, and to discuss carbon offsetting and what the reality of this looks like.
Ecologi’s Climate Impact Manager, Sam Jackson, has been attending COP26, so we couldn’t be in safer hands.
Introducing the latest addition to the Model 03 collection; Velvet, Light Grey.
Velvet, Light Grey is a simple yet beautiful staple colour. Its timeless appeal means it’s the perfect foundation to build your room from and can be placed with many existing furniture items. Although Velvet, Light Grey is a subtle colour it will still make a statement in any room due to its modern texture.
The Model 04, Swyft’s new sofa bed, is the next generation of couch surfing.
When designing the sofa bed, comfort was our main priority. Comfort of sofa beds can be really hit and miss, so we’ve built a sofa bed which is not only practical but comfortable.
At Swyft, we pride ourselves on the fact that our main factory facilities are based on the outskirts of Porto, Portugal. Boasting a rich pool of talented craftsmen and upholsterers, Portugal is the home of upholstery and furniture manufacturing, and it acts as a perfect base for our manufacturing operation.
We chatted to Paul Fieldon, Co-Founder and Director at Swyft, to learn more about the upholstery college, our partnership with them and a brief history of furniture manufacturing in Portugal.
