Dining Table 01

The extendable dining table seats 6-8 people, and has a minimalist design, solid white oak legs, and solid wood edging.

The Design

Our designers wanted to create a simple shape that would suit anyone’s home, in a contemporary and mid-century inspired design. The deep chamfer and shadow gap accentuate the solid white oak legs and highlight the craftsmanship put into creating this piece. 

Functional Details

A dining table should not only look good but also be practical for everyday use. The Dining Table 01 comes with an engineered oak veneer top, which is both durable and easy to clean. 

For the table to be adaptable to an individual's needs and functional for your space, we’ve made it extendable. The table seats up to 6 people when it’s not extended. When it’s time for large gatherings or dinner parties, the dining table can be transformed into a space for 8 people or more. With an extendable leaf stored neatly underneath the table, the space can increase in size with ease.

The Assembly

In true Swyft style, we want to ensure all our furniture is easy-to-build and fuss-free. The Dining Table 01 can be assembled in 6 simple steps with just one tool which is provided in the box. We also include a cardboard sheet which the dining table should be placed on top of whilst building to protect the surface of the table. Dining Chair 01

Designed to pair perfectly with our Dining Table 01 is the Dining Chair 01. With a beautiful curved wooden frame, this chair is where contemporary meets elegance. These are sold in pairs and arrive fully assembled. 

The Design

Similar to our Dining Table 01, creating a simple and minimalistic design for our Dining Chair 01 which would suit all interior styles was key. Highlighted by beautifully crafted interlocking joints, the grain from the solid wood creates a chair that looks and feels unique.

Style alone isn’t enough to make a great dining chair—it also needs to be comfortable, especially for long meals with family or friends. To achieve this, our designers went through multiple options for the curved back design including several rounds of testing, to find the perfect balance of comfort and style.

In order to ensure durability and longevity, these chairs feature a clear coat lacquer finish to prevent scratches. We’ve also added glides onto the feet meaning you can move them effortlessly whilst protecting your floors.

Velvet - Vine

This fabric is our best-seller across our sofa range, so it only felt right to offer this for our dining chairs. Velvet is popular due to its smooth finish and being easy-to-clean. In a beautiful shade of green, Vine offers a vibrant pop of colour to your dining room.

Leather - Maple

We have opted for two stunning neutrals: Shadow, for a cooler palette and Oatmeal for those who want to add warmth to their space.
