A firm favourite over on Pinterest and Instagram, dried flowers are still huge with interior designers and enthusiasts alike. This sustainable decor option requires minimal care whilst giving some pretty impressive looks- what’s not to love? This week we’re answering a couple of questions about these preserved pretties, and rounding up our favourite bouquets that are available to order right now.
How are dried flowers made?
Dried flowers and other arrangements are all about letting nature do its thing. In most cases, the drying process involves binding a few stems together with string and hanging them up for around 2 weeks.
How long do dried flowers last?
Most dried flowers last on average between 1-3 years, if cared for properly. Some types of dried flowers such as lavender last longer, thanks to their thicker and more rigid stems.
