Choosing between velvet and linen can be difficult. Both fabrics offer a classic, timeless aesthetic as well as a choice of contemporary colours. As the fabrics we use for our upholstery are specially selected for their durability and resilience – as well as their good looks – you don’t have to worry about either textile fading or wearing away.

In fact, with both linen and velvet offering similar benefits when it comes to longevity, maintenance and style, the choice between the two really comes down to you. What are fabric sofas made from on the inside?

Although the fabric finish of your sofa is what gives the piece its distinctive look, it’s what’s on the inside that really counts. The foam, feathers and frame that make up the core structure of your fabric sofa determine how it feels when you collapse on the cushions at the end of a busy day.

The seat cushions on all of our sofas have a double foam core. The Model 01 also has double foam core back cushions while the Model 02 has feather-filled back cushions.
